Golden Key
I am not sure why we have "Golden Keys" to the outside shower, the other keys to the storage units on the Flagstaff also open the shower cover. I was told by a lock smith it the same key anyway.

The company that makes the shower part provides the keys to the shower and they just happen to be gold. It is the same old CH751 that opens everyones storage compartments, and starts our forklift at work.

You know, the forklift will probably be gone in the morning...

In many TTs there are 2 keys and one seems to often be brass while the
other is chrome colored.
I guess the locks on the storage area and the lock on the outside shower
are made by different companies even though the often are interchangeable?
My storage area keys fit your trailer and vice versa.
There are companies that sell replacement locks for these areas that have different
keys or even combination locks.

You know I haven't even opened my outside shower door. I think the demo guy at RVW opened it just to show us. Maybe when we go to the beach.

When we are between trips on our trailer I pull out the hot water heater
anode/drain plug.
When we are getting ready to go, I replace the plug and then use the
outside shower to vent the air out of the HW heater so I can re-fill it.
That's why they put it on there isn't it???

I use the same key for all of the compartments. Like Hokie Hall stated the good old CH 751 fits all- including my old Coleman pop up, and every other camper's compartment out there by almost all manufacturers! (My 89 Sea Ray boat's glovebox..... same key, too!!!!!) Randy
