For those of you who have a Flagstaff 5th wheel with a wardrobe slide (or any other Forest River product with a BAL AccuSlide Expandable Room System) be aware that I found Forest River did not install the cable retainers (two types were available, a large horseshoe washer clipped around the cable or a rubber plug inserted in the attachment slot on the exterior retaining bracket) nor did they properly adjust the cable system. This allowed both upper in cables to come off the exterior retaining brackets and be drawn into the sidewall. Fortunately the lower cables stayed attached.
This necessitated removing the inside wall brackets and pushing the cables through the left and right exterior seals (no easy task due to the close quarters).
To prevent this from happening again, I safety wired all 4 cables to the retaining brackets and adjusted the cable and chain mechanism correctly.
I suggest you inspect yours as soon as you can. This was not an easy job and I suspect had I brought it in to the repair shop the repair would not have been inexpensive.
