I recently acquired a Flagstaff classic super lite and found a 7" speaker in a compartment under the fuse panel. No sound comes from tv or radio.Whats it for and secondly is there a source for wiring diagrams?

It would help if you posted make and model of tv/radio. Or year and model of Flagstaff.

Subwoofer?

I know mine 8329ss Rockwood has one hidden under the kitchen counter. Not sure how big the speaker is, I have never looked at it.

My rig has a sub woofer hidden behind a cover under the TV area, I cut a hole in the cover and placed a speaker grill over it. I have the IRV66 sound system.

Sub Woofer. They are meant to be concealed as their job it to resonate structures around them ( walls cabinets etc) to provide indirect sound as apposed to mid or high range speakers. You might find a loose wire lying around in the vicinity of the speaker. if not, you can pull the Radio/DVD player and look at the wire colors connected to the sub connection then try to find them.
