On hot days, we'll use the fans to draw out as much hot air as possible before turning on the A/C's. I've even read where some folks run them going down the road (with covers) to keep the heat down inside when traveling.
Cooler days we often use all the fans and open windows to create a 'breeze' inside.
You'd be surprised how much air moves. Sometimes we run one drawing air out and one drawing air in. (in reverse mode)
We use the one in the bath to draw out moisture when showering.
We use the one in the kitchen when cooking. (as well as the range hood fan)
With reverse mode they can act somewhat like a ceiling fan.
We use this mode sometimes with and without the A/C (cover closed) although our 5th wheel has an actual house type ceiling fan so we don't use them much for that.
