Pretty new to this, you would use the external filter between the source and your regulator? Then regulator to RV? Thanks!
The Camco filter I use attaches to my city water inlet on the side of my trailer with a spring reinforced piece of hose so the weight of the filter doesn't kink the hose. The pressure regulator connects to the other end where you connect the hose at the source.
We use a whole house filter mounted (Outside) it has a Clear housing so you can see what is running thru it! With this type of filter (You) can (Select) what (Element) you want to place (Inside)! The (Element) types can Vary from filtering (Small dogs to Microorganisms that they are still trying to give a Name)! The (Price$$) will vary by (What You want to filter OUT). The price of a (Element comparable to the Blue Filter) is cheaper than F/R stock type or Ole Blue! Youroo!!
Is that a off the shelf unit and is it for use externally? I like the idea of keeping it outside and since it is permanent it would be one less thing I have to mess with when setting up.
