Inside sliding doors

Anyone else have trouble keeping the sliging doors on track? Seems like almost every time we arrive at a campground and go inside our V lite, either the sliding closet door is off it's track on one end, or the door between the living room and bathroom is off on one side. Trying to find an answer to this issue! Randy

We have a sliding door between the bathroom and bedroom. Our 5er came with a vinyl strap that has a twist lock system to hold it open or closed.

There's no "track" per se on the bottom. It's held in place with rubber knobs mounted to the floor and the top is held in place with a deep (4") channel.

No problems so far....knock on wood.

Can you travel with the doors full open and attach a band around the center to prevent opening? Much less dancing with bumps.

We can place something between the open doors to keep it open, that usually helps, if nothing shifts. There has to be a better track system than what this has. It all hangs from the top too, nothing on the bottom. I have to take it all apart to put the doors back on their track. What a PITA!!! Randy

We had a minor issue with our door between the bedroom and bathroom. The door had actually slipped out of the the little plastic guide on the bottom and when we moved the slide it caused a scrape along the door. I took it to our local dealer and they immediately were able to fix the problem. (New door and guide on the way) but the tech suggested that we secure the door with the lower strap to eliminate the door movement. The upper strap is only a foot from the top of the door where as the lower one is 2/3 of the way down.

Our closet doors need to be fully closed to engage the locking tabs. After that, they have not come off the tracks again.

These doors have never had any type of locking mechanism on there, but I will try snap straps- that just might do the trick, and be a simple add- on. Now If I can just get the closet door back on it's track......Randy
