Leaking around shower glass

We have an 09 v-lite that is leaking around the bottom of the shower glass. The glass sets in an aluminum frame with a rubber seal on each side. I have directed the shower spray to this area and know that it is indeed leaking around the rubber seal at the bottom. Any idea on how to stop this leak? I have pressed the rubber seal down a little tighter but that doesn't work. There isn't enough ledge there to hold caulk. Also, I would caulk on the outside but I would have to remove the sink cabinet for access. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I've taken a squeeze tube of Tub & Tile caulking and used a long thin piece of tubing (sink supply pipe works good because of the stiffness of it) attached to it to caulk just such an area. Then take about a 1/2" dowel to smooth it out. You could also buy one of those rubber caulking squeegee's and trim it down and nail it to the dowel if you'd like.

I had the same problem with shower. I told the dealership repair about as one on the other items that needed repair. They just recaulked it like Bama Rambler suggested. But now it is on the dealership if it did not work.

PS. Just make sure to drain your gray tank before going on a trip. I did not and pulled with a half tank of gray water.

Bumping an old post.

The problem is the sealant needs to be on the outside. Water actually gets inside the frame around the gasket in the corners.

The best way to reseal the shower door is to take a pencil and trace around the frame assy on the outside of the shower. Remove the screws holding the shower door assy from the shower surrond and lift up on the entire assy. Clean the shower base and frame with alcohol. Apply a generous bead of silicone just inside your pencil mark. Lower the shower door assy into the silicon and wet your finger with water and smooth out the silicone on the outside. Reinstall your screws and apply a small bead of silicone up each seam (about 1 1/2") and your done. Do not apply any silicone on the inside.
