Looking for thoughts

We are looking at buying a new flagstaff TT or 5th wheel, when I went to the RV show I was told Flagstaff have 1/2 ton towable 5th wheels. I currently have a 2014 GMC Sierra with a 5.3 V8.Any suggestions of what I should look at? Trailer or 5th wheel?

I would say TT with your truck or 5th wheel with a bigger truck. But that's just me. I haven't seen to many 5ers that I would be comfortable with a 1/2 ton. I have seen people do it (in flat Florida with a Toyo Tundra and a real small 5er) but you can get a bigger floor plan with a TT for a 1/2 ton.

Welcome to the forum. Look at the Forest River, Flagstaff Super Lite Classics.

Talk to Old Coot. He tows a Flagstaff 5er (IIRC it's a Classic Super Lite like ours but with different floor plan) with a 1/2 Chevy.

And do it just fine with no problems. Air bags and GY Wrangler LR E tires.
