General has a location by Tampa and if I remember correctly, it is not that far (distance wise) from where you are.

Goshen is a stone's throw from Elkhart, IN. Is the manufacturer located there? I had some custom upgrades done at ProCustom Inc in Elkhart, IN last August. They do everything there and, I was very satisfied with the work done. ProCustom Inc accepts insurance jobs and, I believe they're taking 10% (possibly more) off labor done during Jan & Feb. I was able to live in my rig at night while they worked during the day. You can PM me if you'd like further details. Good luck!

I highly recommend going to a marine dealer and getting a roll of shrink wrap tape to seal the damage. It is waterproof with strong adhesion and can be removed without leaving residue months later. I would cover it with a heavy mil plastic and seal all edges with shrink wrap tape.
Masking tape will be worthless after the first rain and duct tape will leave a nasty residue upon removal.

First i am very sorry for the issue, glad the person stopped, hope you have a police report for the incident. Now for a great place near Goshen, when i needed work on my 5th wheel and took it back to the factory ( I thought) in fact i was taking it back to FR's overflow repair facility and they where the best i have ever dealt with, so i hope you have great service also here is the website info ( RV Service - RCI Wave Express | RV Repair :: Goshen, Indiana |) i hope they help you as much as they helped me. Good luck and Happy Camping

wow glad its not too severe and that everyone is ok.
whereas they will have to rip it apart I would see someone in the foundation business and see about getting some "BLUE SKIN"
like this stuff - only wider
https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.b...her-barrier-6-
inch.1000403475.html
cut off the bent and unlevel stuff and have someone put the primer on and then apply this.
very similar to bearer bond used in NASCAR to stick vehicles travelling at 200mph together for 300 miles

Fell asleep mid morning... night shift worker?
could have been a lot worse.
One of my buddies on the city police caught a driver 2.4 times thelegal limit at 9am last week.

It may be a downer Tom but could of been much worse. You still have a trailer for now. It may look like crap but you have the time to research, get insurance opinions. Your truck is fine, you and your wife are fine. Overall, you were lucky.
Next January, I'll be down south for 4 months starting in Florida. Still in Ottawa for now wishing I was someplace warmer. But I did get to do a month on an island by Punta Gorda.

Had mine repaired in Strathroy , Ontario by a RV Repair shop. Wrecked the skirt and above the fiberglass line. Great work and priced right for the insurance company. If you need a name etc, let me know

That looks bad but it could be worse, I suppose. Glad you are all ok.
Call one of the service fellows listed on this page:
Forest River RV Contact Us - Forest River, Inc.
Your trailer was made in Millersburg, IN which is about 10 minutes outside of Goshen. Their service department does repairs like this all day long and will work with your insurance company. They may need to have your trailer for a day or two.
Good luck!

Good morning every one, just an update about the accident on the I-75..We left Florida April the 8th and made it to Millersburg In. for the 10th.Brought the trailer to the Flagstaff factory where they proceeded to do the repairs, changed the entire left side and rear cap,all new lights and all of the accessories that are attached to the left side..Floyd and his crew did a remarkable job and took care of some of the other issues I had with the trailer...first rate group of people at Forest River...all is well again!

And no hassle with the insurance, being that it happened out of country and repairs done in US vs Canada?
