maxxair 2

I am wanting to put a maxxair 2 on my 2012 Flagstaff 8528 rkws. The one over the bed goes at an angle and was wondering if it will let water in? Any one with this model have one installed?

I installed one on my Roo last week and it's been raining ever since. I left the vent open and no rain came in. Had some wicked storms too.

This vents do Not affect the old vent in any shape or form. It just mounts to the side of the vent and has a cover.

maxxair 2

Maybe I'm not making myself clear on what I'm asking, for this I'm sorry. The roof is at an angle where I want to install the maxxair. If I install it the back of the vent where the screen is will be angled up and I believe would let water in. Here is a pic of my vent.

Oooh, I see. Maybe ask your dealer what they recommend?

I think we were thinking that it was angled the other way, towards the back. That angle may cause a problem. You might have to go with something like this: Fan/Mate | Latest

I just installed a Maxx air On our 5th wheel which has the front roof area slanted similar to yours. It's been through serveral heavy rains and no water inside yet.
