Question Murphy Bed

I know this may seem like a dumb question but how do you get the bed to go back up? I am a woman maybe I'm not pushing up hard enough or what afraid I will break something. Micrrolite25KS Camper brand new camper just getting it ready for spring break.

Lift it straight up from the end It will go back in place.

Ours will go up with just a light lift on the bottom of the frame. DO NOT PUT FINGERS IN THE HINGED AREA AT THE TOP OF THE FRAME! If it does not go up easily, there may be a problem with the shocks on the sides that control the travel. Once you start it , the bed should pretty much go up on its own.

there is a release knob that you have to pull. Mine is on the rights side at the cabinet

I have the Murphy bed in my Mini Lite and I have never seen a knob of any type. I assume we have the same bed? I also have never had any problems putting it up, but I did read a post on here last year where some one could not get theirs up and when they discovered the problem it was because the anchor bolts that hold the pivot area together had pulled loose from the wall.

Maybe it is a difference between the mini and micro or a recent addition, but mine definitely has a release knob that has to be pulled.

Are you talking about the 2 slide locks on each side of the bed to hold the bed up while traveling?

My mini lite has a cord behind the head of the bed. You have to pull on the cord and at the same time lift the bed

Probably people forgetting to engage the side locks before towing.

I could see that. But I dont think mine would fall down even if I forgot the two latches. Mine is pretty stiff going up and down but then again it is pretty amazing to see what is moved around the TT after a long tow.

My 25KS does not have a release knob like you are showing either, the Murphy bed just lifts up. But watch them fingers at the top.
