NE1 know if the overhead lights in the MiniLites/MicroLites are dimmable?

We'd like to install a dimmer switch on the light over our bed so that it isn't so stark. I've read that the lights have to be PWM (pulse width modulation) compatible. Several companies sell solutions that use a remote. Has anyone with a Flagstaff or Rockwood done this?

Worked fine on my lites. 2016 microlite 2306....

I took these apart and mounted in ceiling wiring cavities...

Interesting. How is it installed? Does it have wire leads that you tap into existing fixture?

I dismantled the dimmer. Clipped the 16 or 18ga wires (about 4" long) on the fixture itself. Then put wires in terminal block. Then drilled a hole and mounted knob with the nut near the fixture. It all shoves into a cavity (I had to gouge out styrofoam on a couple, most had wiring pockets).

I utilized these AAA battery, dimmable led stick on lights with remote control. I know it was the lazy way out but it was cheaper and faster. And as a plus they are surprisingly nice.

Thanks. Worked out great. Very happy. They dim WAY down, then go out. Wish they'd dim a bit more (fixture's fault, not the Summer's fault).

I was going to do wireless ones and then....I dunno, Velcro the controller near. Then I realized that syncing the remote with the device, if I have many, would be an issue (if I ever disconnected my house battery). Glad I ended up with these and for a great price.

Those pwm controllers are also great for controlling a fantastic fan, infinite speed control.

Boy lemme tell ya, that is the one constant with our 2019 Rockwood 2109S we have been searchin for a solution to...

Went to the Hershey RV show last week hoping a vendor would have a fix and nothing.

Even RV techs from many different name brands had no answer.

About the only annoying thing with our Rockwood (R.wood--Flagstaff, same thing) is those doggone lights are too bright at night.

Glad to see others are looking for a fix!

I have the same lights I bought at Costco. Only issue is they are battery hogs even if not on. I think because the remote is constantly connected to the lights it phantom kills the batteries. Average two sets a year with maybe 1 or 2 hours of total on time.

UPDATE: So as it turns out, my 2013 Flagstaff does NOT have PWM LEDs. Forest River went to PWM (pulse width module) technology in later years. So I guess my question now is: are my LEDs not dimmable at all, or would a product like what cboss linked above work on mine?
