Need tire replacement. Pain!!!!
I have 4 Castle Rock 225 / 75 R 15 tires. Used for 11 months. One needs to go. I have s good size cash in it. I have tire coverage but am very tempted to replace all 4. What brand do you recommend and where are good places to install. I'm hoping my tire coverage will cover part of one tire.

Most posters here are going with Maxxis.
Discount Tire seems popular too for newer stock date codes.

Ditch the 15" wheels and upgrade to 16" wheels with 225/75-16" light truck tires.

Had a blow out with fr factory bombs this summer just west of Bella flouce SD. Dealer there sold only maxxis she upgraded me from c to e and I just replaced all four. Tires cost about. $145 total per tire mounted and Balanced including taxes. No warranty dealer said there are no warranty on tt tired anymore and the she had checked and the maxxis was the best brand. I couldn't go to 16 tired as there wasn't room for them to fit. I checked the Internet for price comparison as her price was right in line plus I didn't have to go anywhere else. I had about 9k on the blow out and it was 2years old. Good luck in your decision making

We are home today instead of camping because one tire on our 5er was flat when we went to take it out of storage yesterday. OEM tires on our Flagstaff are Ridgway Sport ST "Power Touring" 225/75R15 LRC. I think they need a longer and catchier name.
Spent too much time today searching for replacement Maxxis that I will have to buy online as nearest dealer for them is over 100mi away. Will be talking with Real Deal Tires in Hickory, NC and City Limit Tire and Service in Sparta, NC in the AM as they had the best deals I could find right now. Will have a local tire shop do the R&R, balance and new, metal stems if any can fit the cheap China alloy wheels on the unit.
What did the tire shop who sold you the Maxxis LRE replacements suggest for inflation pressure for the LRC that came off? BTW, I think you got a good deal on those tires at $145 tax, tag and title out the door.

I ordered the Maxxis M8008 tires from a Firestone store. They seem to be good tires, but I've had good luck with Goodyear and Carlisle also.

Tires
Carlisle X2
Replaced tire's on 2015 FS 831FKBSS last summer and they have been great.
Tows so much better and no sidewall cracking at all. They also hold air better than Factory tire's did.
FR was good in assisting with replacements. We love our FS TT.
OVER 180 nights camped so far and no end in sight.
8500 miles last year and 5800 so far this year.

If you can afford these they are the best you can put on your RV and they will not go flat while in storage.
Goodyear Unisteel G614 RST

A number of us on here who have had problems, have gone with these to take the worry about tires out of our trips. If you shop around or look on Amazon you can find them much cheaper than list price.

It's possible there was some confusion as to terminology here. The tire should have a warranty, but is not eligible for road hazard coverage..... which road hazard is usually more akin to an insurance policy than a warranty item........ but people confuse the two.
Usually trailer service tires are not eligible for road hazard replacement/coverage....but it's up to the company offering the road hazard coverage since this is usually something separate and offered thru the selling dealer and not the tire manufacturer (although some manufacturers do offer a very limited time/mileage road hazard on some products).
I always recommend that people make themselves aware of what a road hazard policy covers and excludes, since it is basically like vehicle insurance...and each company/policy can be way different.
Here is a link to tire rack's, which I used as an example since theirs is easy to find.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/roadHazard/trhp.jsp
P.S. Trailer use tires usually never have a mileage warranty either.

LRC was 50 lbs. maxxis is 80 I think. I sure feel more comfortable with the new tires. I think you'll be glad you made the change

The Maxxis is a good tire. However we travel a lot and I was concerned about available dealer support if I needed it. So I went with Goodyear Marathon. I also upgraded from a C rating to D. I did this two years ago and I'm very satisfied - so far.

Went with the Maxxis 8008's and added TST 507 tire pressure monitors. Only got a few hundred miles on the tires but good so far.
