New 831FKBSS is in !!!

Just got a phone call yesterday that our new TT was on the lot! We ordered it on the 20th of February and it was on the dealers lot on the 25th of March. I would have thought that it would be 6 to 8 weeks to build and deliver it so we are very suprised to have it sooner. I have a feeling that with the economic slump, that any orders coming in are being processed real quick to keep the assembly lines moving. Still waiting for my credit union to get us the check to complete the deal but we will run up (3 1/2 hours) to the dealer on 3/28 to check it out as my DW can't wait to see it. Needless to say, after 6 months of research and with the help of the threads on this forum, I want to say thanks to all for the great info on this site! We will have to wait to go on our first real camping adventure until memorial day weekend to the Adirondack mtns. in upstate NY. Let the camping season begin!!!

Congratulation!!! You are going to love your Flagstaff 831FKBSS we do ours. Be sure that during your delivery you’re not rushed and ask lots of questions. Take a pad and pencil along for notes. You will be given a ton of information. Try everything including the A/C and furnace and fridge. Good luck and if you have any questions send me a PM on this board.

Went up today to see the new TT and found out the dealer was wrong about the title year, Was told it would be a 2010 model but instead it was a 2009. A few new changes to note on the 831FKBSS, The hot water heater is no longer located in the bedroom under the wardrobe, it is now located under the kitchen sink, this elimanates any noise from the bedroom giving you a good nights sleep! The outside front storage compartment no longer has a slide out tray, (I was going to remove it anyway to make room to stow the hitch equipment) Thus increasing the space inside that compartment. Pictures will follow when I get the unit home.
