New ceiling light fixture needed

Have had the ceiling fixture come loose twice before. Today I found it hanging by the wires again. Looks like the threads are stripped inside. I currently have it zip tied together till I can replace it. Any suggestions? Was thinking about just replacing both with something flush mount so nothing is swinging around while going down the road. I have no idea why the pic is sideways.
