New Flagstaff 25FBLS

Well I have been lurking allot but have not posted in quite along time. Letting go of our 2010 Surveyor Sport 186 and picked up a brand new 2019 Flagstaff 25FBLS at Keystone RV in PA. The wife and I decided it was time for a little more room. The Surveyor has been great to us, no major issues. I really hate to see her go. I hope the Flagstaff will treat us just as good. I can not say enough good things about Keystone RV. Great experience from start to finish.I dealt with Louis Weaver. So far 2 days camping no issues and we love the huge shower and separate bedroom. Hoping for many more days this season. If anyone else has the same model and can share any insight I would appreciate it.

25FBLS

Bought our first one in March. Absolutely LOVE IT! Had to replace the pwr jack and one puck light but other than that, it's been a blast. Would suggest buying a portable gray/black water tank (32 gal) which will drain any gray/black tank you have. Everything else has been great!

Love this model

Congratulations. We bought the same model in April and absolutely love it. It is the perfect size for the two of us and so far we have not had any quality control issues. everything works as advertised.

Texas RB!
Thanks for the nice reply. So far have had our pwr jack go out on our first outing as well as one puck light. LOVE THE TRAILER.......
Quick question: Did you notice the puck lights ever having a dim setting?

Puck Lights

Ours does not have a dim setting for the lights. You can only shut them on or off form the light itself or all at once from the switch. It is listed as a 2019 model so i am not sure if that changed.

Do you notice much of a difference pulling the 25 footer over the Surveyor with the extra length and weight?

Yes I do notice a difference. The Flagstaff is about 2000 lb heavier than the Surveyor. The truck can handle it just fine but with the Surveyor it was like it wasn't even there. Gas mileage went from around 12 mpg towing down to around 8 mpg. Still getting used to the bigger trailer but not uncomfortable towing it.

mcsebald - went out this past weekend and checked the lights and they only have off/on, no dimmer.

We bought this unit this year and just came back from our third outing. Eighteen days so far and counting. Have done some mods just to personalize it for us. Only thing so far that you need to keep an eye on is the left side cargo door. I have gotten some rain penetration through this door because it opens from the top. This has happened three times. If that seal isn't perfect, it will leak. Not sure what to do with that yet.

We downsized from a Flagstaff fifth wheel and not sorry we did. This rig works out great for us. Much easier to maintain so far.
