dunnnc...You did a great job on your fix! Our RV had to be returned to the Factory back in March of this year (2012) for a floor repair. Our front door strut had also pulled out of the wall, so Forest River repaired it for us.
The mounting screws have loosened up on many occations and my DW has decided she wants me to just take the door bracket off and make the door open all the way!
I liked the way you fixed Forest Rivers poor planning with your own bracket!
It makes you wonder why some of the "Bonus Features" where not thought through prior to implementation!
