Question New TT

In August of this year my DW and I purchased our new Flagstaff 27rlss. I have not seen any reviews or post about this floor plan, and was wondering has anyone seen this floor plan. As nowdays it is mostly just DW and I this floor plan was perfect for us.

Congrats on your purchase!
This time of year it can be slow in the forum.
Less eyes see your post.
Someone may be around and see it to help you out with your questions.

Don't have your floor plan, but it's great that there are so many different floor plans offered so a family can find just what is right for them. We have 4 kids, so the queen bedrm on one end and the 4 mostly full length bunks in the bunk house floor plan on our camper works great for us! Welcome to the forum...

I've been considering buying this model travel trailer. There is only me and my better half. What do you think of the trailer; have you had any problems; what do you really like about it and what could be better? Also, I see a 26RLSS and a RLWS; any thoughts on those? I think the sliding wardrobe would be a plus. You input is appreciated. Clint

I was just curious and checked the floor plan. That looks like a very good set up for having company and entertaining, or just lounging on a rainy day!.

If I'm right though you would have to put the slides out if you stop on the road and want to get in the kitchen area for some reason. I have to do that with my Rockwood 2503S, although I have a back door and can reach the fridge that way it still gets awkward trying to get into the dinette without putting the slide out.

Otherise your choice looks

Enjoy!

WolfWhistle This floor plan is perfect for DW and I since most of the time it is just she and I.
On occasion our DS goes with us, he is a full grown 17 year old who has more than ample room to sleep on the fold out sofa bed. We also have three small Grand Childern the opposing slides make lots of room on those rainy days for them to run off some spent up energy. The floor plan seems more like a small 5 room apartment than a TT. The mid ship galley kitchen with the large center counter top makes preparing meals a pleasure. The interiour space is light and roomy. However you will want to add shelving to the overhead cabinets (unless forest river already has) to make more room for food and tableware storage. When we bought ours Aug 2012 the newer 27rlws was not yet avalible. I could see where the extra wardrobe space would be nice but in my opinion not at the expense of the third window in the bedroom, and added weight. I have plans for a few mods as soon as warranty is out to make our Home away from Home a little more functional.
Happy Camping

You are right about company and entertaining which is one of the reasons we liked this floor plan. Several of our friends and us spend the last trip of the season together in one of our State Parks and I wanted room for us guys to part take in a few friendly card games. As far as reaching the kitchen area with the slides in it is really not that bad. There is a large entry hall from which you can easily reach the fridge, or if you wanted too, use the stove top, microwave, or kitchen sink by reaching over the center countertop. The restroom and bedroom are fully accessible. You can also simply hop over the countertop into the center of the TT. and walk right into either slide while they are in. With just the dinning slide out (RS) the TT is fully usable other than the gas oven. You can also access every storage compartment with the exception of the ones on the sides of the entertainment area while the slides are in. This is our third TT and as you may get the idea I really liked this floor plan and did quite a bit of research before picking this one.
PS. there is still room for the times that our grown children or grand children bless us with their presence.
