I have a friend that found problems with his and he took them down and found that a sharp edge on the holes that the strings go though was the problem, Clean the sharp edges and re-string and the problems go away.

Those have to be the most rinky-dink, cheap arsed window treatments I've ever seen.
As are those silly "side drape" type cloth applications. On the windows behind our theatre style Lazy Boy recliners the metal bracket that holds the bottom of those in place is placed *exactly* where it hits you in the back of your head when you recline.
Do the designers of these RVs ever actually *use* the features they design?
