No Bathroom Light

Just picked up my brand new 2010 Flagstaf Fifth Wheel. Went through the walk through and eveything seemed to be in order. Got home 30 miles from the dealer and now find out the light in the room with the stool does not work. Anybody have any thoughts on what to do before making my 60 mile round trip back to the dealer.

IF it is like mine, the bathroom has a switch on the wall, AND a switch on the double light fixture on the ceiling, as well. Try turning on the wall switch, then flipping the ceiling light's rocker switch. You also may have a fantastic fan power vent installed in the ceiling above the toilet. It won't run unless the vent is opened, and the switch on the wall is on, also the switch on the fan itself must be on. Hope this saves you a trip!!! Randy

I will look for the wall switch. The fan works great. We spent the last two days moving all the gear from our old Sunset Creek TT to the new 5er and we can't wait to try it out. Just retired last week and plan to spend a lot more time out camping. I love this forum. Lots of great info.

You should be able to turn the fan on(if cover is open)and the light on with that wall switch. IF that wall switch is in the off position, none of that will work. Each item downstream of that switch has it's own switch for variety. That way, you can simply turn on the wall switch to operate either the light OR the fan, OR both. Handy feature, in my opinion! Glad to hear it's working.

Designing the location of the switch behind the door is dumb.

Years ago I remember when I was trading in my car that I had for several years and aguring with the salesman about having "tilt wheel" option. I felt so dumb when he showed me that I did have it, all I could say was "oh..." never knew I had it.
