No Towel Bar or TP Holder?

So, got a new 2018 MicroLite 25BDS and noticed there was no Towel Bar or TP Holder installed. I later found them in a bag in a compartment. Dealer said they don't ordinarily install them because owners have their own ideas on where they should go. Really? My last 3 campers had them installed. Anyone else experience this?

I'm glad they didn't install mine since they are cheap garbage anyway. Same goes for the toothbrush holder too.

Yep, pretty standard and the dealer's explanation is true.
Some want it on the wall, some want it on the inside of the vanity cabinet door to keep it out of the way.
We choose to hang towels on over the door hooks.
And we use a free standing TP holder.
that way no drilling or screws.

Hi,

We just bought a 2017 Sunseeker and had the same experience. The technicians did not install the tp dispenser for the same reasons. They advised not installing it because a hole that is made after the unit is manufactured could cause problems for the consumer--water damage, mold etc. This is what the dealership said to me. They advised getting a dispenser that sits on the floor and keeping the tp in it.

We got a cloth basket and put a roll of tp in it. While we are camping, it will sit either on the counter or on the floor. When the camper is in motion, if it falls over, nothing will break because it is cloth and paper. At least this is our plan.

Yep, off to the local home hardware outlet for what should have been there. Oh well, saved the company $1.50.

We installed the tp roller inside the cabinet door and we use over the door hooks for our towels. There really was no place to put the towel rod in our bathroom. The door hooks, which we bought at WalMart, were a better option than the single bar, since this allows for two sets of towels to hang and that has worked very well.

Highly recommend!

Highly recommend the KES adhesive holders available on Amazon, no screws, put it right where you want it. We've had several with no problems.

We also use a free-standing toilet paper holder and an over-the-door towel rack.

My wife found a great adhesive TP holder, works great. And, she uses the heavy duty 3M adhesive strips, hooks, towel bars, etc., they can be easily removed, for just about anything that needs to be attached. All have worked well and can be removed without a trace. Also, over the door towel holder works well too.

No Towel Bar or TP Holder?

Had the same issue. But had my dealer install the TP holder after saying I wanted it put in a certain place. Later discovered the holder was put somewhere else cause the tech didn't think it would work where I wanted it. Oh, well. I can live with it . . . or change it on my own. Also, didn't want to install the toothbrush holder or soap holder. I preferred other alternatives than a fixed position for each.

I moved my towel ring from where they mounted it and was glad they didn't mount tp holder. I was able to hang them where I (or wife) wanted them.

Ours did not install them either. We used a basket for the TP and just hang the towels over the shower door. To me the walls are not sturdy enough to hang a towel rack.

Like others, my TP and towel bars were not installed, and I was glad. In fact, there was this huge bull nose ring looking thing that I guess was a towel bar that had been installed and had to go, which left me with several holes in the wallpaper. Also like others, I use over the door towel bars as well.
