Our new 8528rsws

Our new fifth wheel arrives today. Unfortunately we won't take possession until spring. Dealer will store it for us til then. We have our pdi list ready. Any tips?

Apart from a thorough PDI I would recommend a shake down stay in the vicinity or even at the dealers lot to find out issues. Better find them now and let them fix what you find now and not do this in spring. You should not loose valuable days of using the rig in spring.

Have them take the panels off under the sink and show you how all the valves work. There's also where the water filter is installed. The screen door needs to have a grab bar installed. On our unit, the couch seat pillow, on the recliner side, sticks out too far to bring the slide in, but the good side is, when you lift it, there's storage underneath. If you have the frameless windows, they do not open very far. The radio will bring in only one or two FM stations and no AM. If you leave the table in one place for too long, the wheels will dent the floor. Minor things, we love our unit!
