Outdoor kitchen door rivets popped

Good morning, i have a issue with my outdoor kitchen door on my flagstaff. Door opens but does not close properly. The first five rivets of hinge where attached to door itself have broke. I hope to put new rivets in, i am wondering if anyone has done or encounter this before, i am looking for methods. Thinking i can leave door up and pull fridge out to put rivets in or if i remove caps at end of hinge would door slide off for repair? Any ideas may help. Hopefully these picture uploads work here. You should be able to prop the door all the way up and re-rivet the hinge to the door. You should be able to 'push' the broke off part into the door farther so the new rivets will fit into the existing holes. I'd probably add a few rivets between the existing ones just for insurance. Maybe even go with a size larger.

Thankyou Bama Rambler. That method worked perfect and i doubled the rivets. Doors as smooth as new!. Had to tackle by myself so rope and ratchet extension poles came in handy.
