Will the BAL X Chocks fit between the tires. This model has a very small gap around 1 1/2" at the narrowest point. I don't want to buy them and find out they don't fit. They are on sale for $67.50 per pair online at Amazon and Camping World.

I believe we have the 'sister unit' to yours (Rockwood 8289WS) and the BAL fit just fine!

Time traveler. I see you have the Andersen levelers also. Did you have to cut them down?

We purchased the rig and accessories from another member on this site (BamaBob) and yes, I believe he did say he cut them down...

Had a set similar to BAL X. Did very little to stabilize our 8528IKWS. Do not waste your money. Get a set of JT Strongarm Stabilizers. They work VERY well.

And the other thing that comes to mind. If you replace the stock tires with MAXXIS tires as I did, the gap becomes a bit smaller.

How narrow do these chocks get when fully expanded? my new fifth wheel has large tires that are fairly close together.

They will narrow to about 3 in. The tires on my 5th wheel r very close and they work great
