I do mine once a year, after I get new tires or before any long mileage trips. Before each use adjust brakes and tire pressure and check lights.

The guy, when I get mine done, always tells me see you in 2 years!

We've had ours 2 years and thought we'd take it in and have it done before heading out this year.

FWIW, I only do it every other year. I also use a temp gauge at each stop to measure the hub temps. Any anomaly would result in an inspection to determine the cause.
