Picking up our 2015 27RLWS tomorrow

Any advice / tips? Things to look for / check?
I have a couple questions:

The under belly storage is pretty small..any advice how to make it most efficient?
Where do you store camping lounge chairs? We have the big zero gravity kind, we used to store them under the bed in our 2008 Wildcat.

What size sheets fit best for the sofa sleeper inflatable mattress?

We are picking up our 27RLWS tomorrow as well! Congrats! You have some good questions that I'd like to see answered as well.

You will really like your new trailer! We are very happy with ours, I pull with a pickup so carry camping chairs in truck bed. For sewer hose storage do a search on fence post hose storage. Tons of storage inside trailer but not much outside as you already know.

Wife says Queen size sheets on our 2015 inflatable mattress.

Everything went smooth for pickup...Only issue was, I thought it was supposed to come with an inflatable mattress for foldout couch? It was missing on ours, so they tried to take it off the other same model and that was missing too?? Salesman called Forest River District salesperson and they said its not suppose to come with inflatable mattress??

From what I understand Forest River has changed the couches. They no longer have the inflatable air bed. They use a different style now. Click on video
, they have a you tube of how it works.

No air mattress sleepers for newer production except floor plans where the new EZ Sleep sofas don't have room to open. Tried one at a show and would recommend you get an Aerobed to go on it. The EZ Sleep is horribly uncomfortable!

We have a 2015 Rockwood 2703WS which also has a non-inflatable sofa bed. The technician doing the PDI said that they changed from the inflatable beds in June/July 2014. I found the new hide-a-bed comfortable.

We have about 12 weeks of camping since October and only had two issues with slide outs due to installation problems which were handled expeditiously by the dealer.

I've added shelving, storage, a Trimetric battery monitor, Progressive Dynamics converter, Progressive Industries surge suppressor. I've also replaced the tip out above the drawers on the kitchen peninsula with a fourth slide out drawer and removed the water filter from the front pass through storage area. Still in the planning stages are a built in spice rack and solar assist for dry camping.

The only real issue I've had to deal with is the somewhat limited carrying capacity. But, it's an ultralight and I am able to tow it with my Toyota Tundra.

We picked up our 2015 27RLWs today and we are disappointed in the sleeper sofa. It was not an air bed as I had thought. Other than that it was great. My Ford F150 STX towed it beautifully. Our first trip out will be March 16.

Are you buying the extra 1 yr warranty from Forest River? Remember you have only have 10 days. I am filling out my paperwork right now!
And, as expected, dealer did not make any mention of it.

Not sure how your set up compares to ours but for underbelly storage - we use well-labeled covered totes, so you can slide them out & stack them on the ground (even in the rain) until you get the one you need (Sewer, Fire stuff, tools, awning stuff (lights, etc.)). Find a size that will fit easily thru the opening.

We have the anti-gravity chairs, too. Store them on the dinette (made into the "bed" when we travel) lying flat with the "bottom" of the chair away from the wall, so if there's any dirt on the 'feet', it won't hurt the wall.

Congrats on your camper. Welcome to the forum. I read these posts every day - it's the only thing that keeps me sane until spring.

My experience with the air bed mattress is miserable! They leak air very easily through the fill valve. Replaced mine twice in first year of modest use! Be thankful you do not have one. If you like an air mattress, Wal-Mart.com has numerous brands for sale. You can place it on top of the new style bed.

The "10 days after pickup" is no longer in effect. You can apply during a larger time margin, we did it 3 months after we bought our Wildcat MAXX 24RG last summer!

I removed the air bed the day we brought it home. Along with the heavy counter extension. It has plenty of counter space as is and the DW loves to put stuff on horizontal places so out it went. I prefer to save on extra weight.

Our dealer as well didn't offer the extended warranty. He did offer a 3rd party warranty for a considerable amount of money. I told him no thanks and asked where is the Forest River extended warranty. He gave me the form but didn't mention anything about a 10 day deadline. Thanks for the heads up

As for the couch, we will have to add a mattress pad I guess.

When buying a cover, you only want the length of the box not including tongue and bumper. That measurement I bet is 27 feet. Hence the model #. You need to measure to be sure

No actually the box is bigger than 27'. It's more around 30' and the cut off for most covers is real close. Better bigger than to tight.
