Reese hitch loose L bracket

We arrived at our campground last night and I was surprised to find a bolt missing on the L bracket where it attaches to the A frame. As it turns out, both holes are somewhat elongated, so purchasing a new bolt probably won't work. I'm going to call an RV repair guy in the morning, but I think I will have them weld the brackets onto the frame (both sides). Any thoughts? Anyone else have this happen with a Reese cam hitch? The attached picture says it all.

I don't see the picture but suggest you give lots of thought to welding something to your frame. Pretty hard to undo if you later change your mind.
