Removing factory stickers from new TT.
Just received our new Flagstaff 832 IKBS. Love this trailer so far. How do you safely remove all the shipping stickers from front of the trailer? Seems to be well adhered. There is also "Follow us on Facebook" sticker next to the ladder. Wow!
I would welcome any tried and true suggestions to safely remove these unsightly tattoos from the trailer.
Thanks

Peanut Butter
Take some peanut butter (smooth not crunchy) dab some on the sticker and let it soak for 15-30 minutes. They will easily scrape off...

One of the magical properties of WD-40 is the ability to dissolve most adhesive used on paper stickers. Doesn't hurt most painted surfaces.

When mine was new all I needed was a hair dryer. I think because it was so new the glue was still fresh and all it needed was a little heat.

Use a hair drier to warm them up, start at one corner and peel the decal,
As you heat the decal, too much heat will make it stretch thin and break, not enough heat will make it hard to lift, You have to practice, after you get the decal removed, you need Rapid Remover to get the glue off. Here is a link, this stuff smells like oranges.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006RU65UG/...0YAYJXWMEZ87TA
And as a side note, keep the bottle handy, this stuff removes a LOT of stains and marks on items that are hard to get off, like sharpy marks, shoe scuffs etc. whenever I am fighting marks on walls or anyplace, I grab Rapid Remover and it many times handles the job.
You know that glue on the new toaster oven that was left on after you removed the warning sticker? Comes right off, Stuff is expensive though.

I used a hair drier on about 40 stickers on our RV and at a later time I removed decals and name from the front cap. The only sticker I place on paper for saving was the tire and load capacity sticker. FOB tires have been upgraded since. The hair drier worked well and a little acetone to remove any glue residue followed by wash and wax. (no ghost)

WD40 and Googone wont generally work on metallic stickers, but will remove the left over adhesive. Hair dryer or heat gun (carefully), as others have stated, works best. The "peanut butter" technique is a new one to me, but would think it too, would only work on paper type stickers.

X 2, may need a little WD40 on a rag to get the adhesive residue off

For those stickers that have warnings or information such as weights, take a picture before removals, download to computer files or print off and keep in a manual for future reference.

x 2 on putting the pix into a folder. Or, if careful, peel and restick the label to the inside of a cabinet door. If vinyl cut letters, slowly peel off (the dealer name, etc) and throw away. The other? goo-gone or wd-40 and a quick wax afterward. I think I removed close to 20 stickers (the dealer advert by the back door really cheesed me - it was first to be gone).

I took all the stickers off mine. Is there any way to have an "ordered" unit delivered with no stickers? If I ever custom order an RV I intend to ask for no stickers, no decals, etc. Just send it with a plain solid color paint scheme. Don't even want the model name showing.

If the stickers with weight and tire information get damaged FR will send you new stickers. I got new ones from FR and keep them with the paperwork that belongs to the RV.
