Renogy 200 watt solar suitcase....

Just purchased the Renogy 200 watt solar suitcase with adventurer controller. I did buy the voyager controller to replace the adventurer because the adventurer isn't waterproof. I also realize that the adventurer is 30 amp and the waterproof voyager is 20 amp. My question is, can I remove the controller from the panel, then attach wires to panel and run to camper then mount controller inside camper then to Battery? Solar is new to me so that's why i'm asking. Also will I loose much amperage by using the 20 amp compared to 30 amp with just 2 panels. Will the wiring from zamp connection be heavy enough? I will reverse polarity when I connect. Any info on solar would be great.

Yes, the controller doesn't care where it is. You don't need a 30 amp with 2 panels. You will be lucky to get 5 amp hours out of each panel.

Can't answer the zamp question. Where it is good enough depends on wire run length and wire thickness. Use the two with an online voltage loss calculator and you should have no more than 0.4 volts loss (3% which I think is too high) at 13.8 volts.
