Right Decision - 2013 Flagstaff Micro Lite 25DS
We traded in our 2007 Puma 19FS yesterday. Please tell me we have made the right decision getting the Flagstaff Micro Lite 25DS. As anyone had any major problems with this model? Also I LOVE this forum and have gotten alot of ideas.

it would also help if you posted what you're towing with, since it's a bigger and heavier TT.

We're towing with a D700 Dodge with 5.9 cummins diesel engine and a allison transmission. Hopefully it will be able to handle it. But my question wasn't concerning what I'm towing it with, it was the TT that we just purchased.

We really like ours so far. Had it for over a year but only been out three times so far for a total of 10 nights. We are going to put a mattress topper on the bed though. I am pulling mine with a '01 F150 and doing just fine.

Looks like the weight is pretty much the same, so if you had no issues pulling the Puma that should be no issue. I haven't seen alot of problems with the Micro Lites, congrats and enjoy!!

We just purchased a Flagstaff 25DS and have not taken it out yet. Any advise anyone could give me prior to that would be appreciated. We traded a popup so this will be a new experience.
Thanks in advance!

We loved ours. Only problems were with microwave not opening and clothes rod in bathroom closet broke. Both were taken care of by dealer. We had it for three summers and camped every weekend. We just upgraded to a 8528rsws and can't wait for camping season.

Only thing that went wrong with our 25DS was a hub cap came off while on the road. I bought a replacement, plus an extra one which I still have. If you ever lose one keep me in mind.
It worked ok for us till I retired and we found it to be a bit small for anything more than a weekend trip. We upgraded to a 8528RSWS plus a F250 to pull it.

this usually happens when newbies button up their RV tight as a drum in cold weather, not allowing all the hot moist furnace air and humans' hot moist breath, anywhere to go. using propane for heating causes moisture in the chemical process.
you need to allow for air movement by cracking a roof vent and a end/side window and using the fantastic fan to push the air.
if you have electric hookups, then get a dehumidifier.

Cold walls and windows and hot RV plus high relative humidity. Anything you can do to minimize the temperature difference or humidity will help, including.
Insulate windows with coverings (lots of posts on this).
Fans to move air around
Dehumidifier
Don't breathe unless it is absolutely necessary.
Minimize propane stove use (use hot plate or microwave)
Don't use your shower if you have one.
Crack a couple vents, although I'm not sure about that one.

No I think he did. Keep air moving with a window cracked. After an evening of heavy snoring condensation will definitely start to appear. It's a must to vent this off as done too often will start to gather in hidden spaces and grow mold. Fan is a great idea. White noise is a must in ours.
