Satellite Receiver

Is there anyone out there in FR land who has installed a satellite receiver behind the TV in their Micro Lite 25 BDS? If you have, could you post a picture and tell us what type of mount you used to hold the receiver in place. Thanks!

If your receiver uses Bluetooth or RF remotes, then you can mount it anywhere, like behind the TV as they don't need line of sight. We don't have your particular unit, but we use zip ties to mount the receiver attached to the back of the TV.

If you have an IR remote/receiver (line of sight), then your options are more limited.

Good luck!

I have the VIP receiver which requires line of sight to operate; however, I have read somewhere on the internet where some people say the IR signal bounces off the wall and reaches the receiver behind the TV. Nonetheless, I plan to get a Wally receiver as an "upgrade." They are relatively inexpensive.
I still would like to hear from anyone who has mounted their receiver on the wall behind the TV to find out what product they used to hold the receiver in place. Of course, the cheaper option is to use zip ties and attach it to the TV like you've done. Why reinvent the wheel?
Thanks for ur reply, NMWildcat.
