Scare Light

Have 2015 Flagstaff 21fbrs with LED scare light about 12' long mounted under awning. Noticed some of the lights are out & some are flickering. Wondering if this light is moisture sensitive. Anybody else experience this problem? Any info much appreciated.
Thanks

I have had the same problem with some of my LED side marker lights. If you look close you may see moisture behind the lens. Even though they were still under warranty, I just ordered replacements online. They are cheap, and it is easier to replace them yourself than haul the trailer back to the dealer.

Nope just cheap lights. i have had 3 sets replaced from the dealer on my 2014. 1st set broke in a couple of months of very light uses. I just replaced the 4th set myself from a set i had the Rockwood ship me.

Thanks for the info Prothos. Another question. Does this light stick on or screw on?

Yes, they are cheaply made and seem to fail frequently. Now that I think about it, I never replace any of the old-fashioned light bulbs in the 14 years I own my Prowler. Now that's what I call progress!

I have never seen a 12' long (Scare light) on a RV! There are several LED factory installed awning lights that are (VERY Short Lived)! Youroo!!

On my Rockwood the led awning lights are hooked up to the switch labled "scare light". Not really a scare light
