Side seam

Looking for some help regarding side seam and front seams that are showing cracks in the sealant. This around where the nose cone attaches to the sides. Should I just use some clear sealant or something else?
Thanks for any suggestions.

A special sealant is required.

Forest River uses GeoCel 2300MHRV Vehicle Body Sealant. DO NOT use Silicon Sealant. It WILL NOT last.

Geocel 2300 MHRV is sold to the public under the name Proflex RV.

Look for this product at most Ace, Do-It Best, Trustworthy Hardware, Sentry Hardware, Menards, & Camping World.

RV Sealant Inspection & Maintenance

Also, SIKA FLEX 221 is a very good sealant for the application you're looking for.

Going to "Eternabond" all my seams as soon as I can afford it. Lots of tips on how to do it on the web site and on the forum.

ETERNABOND ROOFSEAL WHITE 4" X 50' ROLL

Use the 6 inch roll for the front and rear cap seams.

Side Seam

I figured out that the trim is loose on one side hence the crack in the seam. I reattached and used clear Proflex to reseal. Came out nice. I will probably do the Etrnabond on the roof next spring.
