Slide out lite not working

I have a 2000 flagstaff there is two matching wall plugs two prong one in the trailer wall is live the one on the seat end is not dead the wire runs up to the ceiling lite .does anyone know of a little jumper cord to connect these . forest river and rv dealers can't help me I purchased this used 4 months ago .the unit is a super lite sd 26 we love it I have plenty of experience const Elec etc. But I don't want to change and rewire things if some one could help I'd really appreciate it. I really am not following the question? Jumper wire for what exactly? Is one outlet not working?

The outlet on the wall has power the outlet in the seat end doesn't I assume that the wall outlet needs to be connect to the plug end on the seat to power the ceiling lite

Are we talking 12 volt outlet or 120 volt? This really makes no sense. I have never heard of anyone having to install a jumper wire to make it work. Maybe some pictures would help

It is 12 volt two prong plug I'll try to find pictures it like a little automotive type plug about 1/4 in by 3/4 in
