Slideout Floor Construction

2012 Flagstaff 30 WRLTS
U shaped dinette in slideout

I want to take the folding mechanism off of the table and use 2 pedestals.

My question: How thick is the floor and will I be able to screw a base for the pedestals to the floor?

I'm through (in more ways than 1)with the wobbly folding mechanism. I had the 2 pedestal dinette table in my previous trailer and had no problems with it.

As our parents used to say, "Keep your elbows off the table!" It takes getting used too as we have often almost launched diner at each other. I find the floor mounted pedestal are really no better and can be worse. At least I can move oh table out it in when getting out from behind it. Got to some dealers and see how much they move before changing it.

We installed 4 screw legs we got at home depot. After 2 years we do not regret it, gives more leg room, no more banging shins!
