Slow response from control panel

For about 2 weeks now when I push the buttons to control my slides or my canopy there is at least a 5 second delay. Does anyone know why??

We really need to know which RV you have in order to be much help.

Are you using the manual switches or the remote control? If it's the remote, there may be something interfering with the radio transmission. or it could be weak batteries.

I agree, more info is needed.

The newer Flagstaff's have a touch screen control panel and the screen simply sends a signal to a relay bank mounted elsewhere in the trailer. Some also have remotes that work some of the items.

Give us a little more info and we'll do our best to help.

Yes, everything works, but there is this new 5 second delay.... I'm just worried that maybe a relay is going bad, I don't want something to blow out and I can't fix it. Being proactive!!

I assume that you have the membrane pad and not physical switches.
I also assume that the delay is with all functions.

It appears that, that pad uses network communications to the relay panel. I'd guess that there's a communication issue, but there's no telling on which end it may be.

According to the manual you press and hold the power button to restart the panel. I'd try that and see if it helps. Just hold the button down until it restarts.

Ues it is the membrane style panel. Thank you for the help, I will give it a try.
