Sofa drawer

My TT has a sofa that has a drawer at the bottom. It is the length of the sofa along the bottom. It will not stay closed when traveling. I thought about a wooden wedge under the drawer or tying with rope or bungee.
Anyone else have this problem.

We stapled a short piece of Velcro on both sides of the center (drawer lip and mating sofa flange). Works fine for us. Don't know if this is possible with your kind of sofa.

I installed a latch on the inside of the front. I could reach it thru the pull area on the face of the drawer. I got tired of that and the draw was useless for any thing to fit in it. So I removed the draw and then removed the face of it and put a leg on each end of the upholstered face and use Velcro to hold it in place. Now I have a large useful storage area under the couch.

The small sofa in our Microlite folds flat to make a "nap bed" and to accomodate the Murphy bed. If I raise the front edge of the sofa slightly the drawer slides in a little deeper and is then held in place by the sofa seat. Don't know if yours is anything like mine.

Yep. Has busted a hole in my cabinet across from it- twice now. With 4 catches on it, and only blankets in it still popped open and broke the cabinet again within months of replacing the whole cabinet side.
