Sofa question

The sofa on my v-lite it has a bottom drawer but when traveling it comes open. I also noticed some of the sofas in the dealer lot had a rope or material holding it closed when shipping from factory to dealer. I have my TT at the dealer for some other issues.
I complained to the tech and he said that it was designed this way and that he could not do anything to hold the drawer closed, like a latch of some sort.
This would void the warranty and he could not do anything without Forest River approval. Anyone else have a mod for this problem?

Ours did the same thing. Then we discovered that if you lift the front of the cushion then close the drawer then lower the cushion it will hold the drawer closed.

Hope that works for you.

regards, Mike

Same as the HAB couch

I did not realize 'til this post that's almost the same latch to keep the HAB from sliding open in transit. There is a video somewhere that shows how to fold it back. Our sales guy didn't even know that. Showroom model was coming open during demos. 'til I got hold of it.
