solid surface counter tops....

I have 2017 forest river 5th wheel. It came with a counter and extension which are solid surface. Trying to figure out what it is made of. Would like to make it shorter and put hinges on it in place of how it mounts from factory with leg on it. Would like to know how to cut it (what type of blade) or do I use a tile cutter? any info would be appreciated. Thx

As long as it is not granite, fine toothed blade or tile blade will work and a fine file will clean it up.

My solid surface counters had stickers on them saying they were Corian®.
Google 'cutting Corian' and lots of hits come up on how to cut.

we talked with the Forest River Flagstaff rep about counter tops at the St Louis RV show. In the model you have, they are not Corian, but a generic version (3m's maybe)

We were asking about differences between the Classic and Super lites. It came up in the conversation about getting rid of the Emerald and Sapphire package and making them included
