Spray port

On our 2019 Flagstaff Micro Lite 25FKS there is a door next to the outdoor kitchen that covers a spigot and hot & cold knobs. The floor plan for this unit labels it a spray port. When you turn our knobs no water comes out. We are on pump not city water. No mention in the infamous manual nor on our poor PDI. Right now we are 1500 miles from home. Would love to know the purpose of this spray port and how to use. When we get home we are going to request another in depth PDI. We have learned our lesson on so many things pertaining to this RV. Guess we were spoiled by Jayco but they didn’t have a good floor plan for our towing capabilities. We love this floor plan and am sure we will like this camper once we stop feeling so inadequate! Any guidance on this spray port will be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about the outdoor shower?

Spray port usually is referring to a female quick connect that you have a hose with a male end on it, often with a garden hose nozzle. My camper has one and it came with what looks like a coiled air compressor hose with a garden sprayer handle on it. Although your's would be the first I've heard of that has hot and cold knobs which are usually used on outdoor showers and come with a hose and a small shower head that clamps in the door in a little set of grooves.

Posting a picture would be helpful to direct you in the right direction.

On mine you have to use a quick connect hose and sprayer on it for it to release any water. Is your hose connected to the spigot?

If this is what you are takling about... you need the (usually) coiled hose that connects to the spray port. No water will come out the quick-connect until you plug in the hose.

SHAME on your dealer for not explaining this to you!
