Stabilizer Jack Problem
Just got a 2016 Micro Lite 21FBRS, took it to Florida for a week and upon returning home, parked it in my driveway. While leveling the RV using the stabilizer jacks, one of the jack supports bent and the jack is no longer level. Has anyone else had a problem with the stabilizer jacks on this or any other Flagstaff model? Thanks in advance for any replies.

The stabilizers jacks are for stabilizing only not for leveling your rig. You level side to side by driving up on blocks of some kind and level front to back using the lounge jack.
You should be able to straighten the support with a little elbow grease and some choice words.

They are flimsy at best and need reinforcing. I have reinforced 4 sets by splitting a 29' long pc of 2-1/4" x 0.120 wall square tubing and welding it to the bottom of each leg. The 5th and last set I did (OCW's) I used 1-1/2 x .120 angle and made channels to fit.

BS, they are not strong enough to even stabilize a trailer if used correctly. Better to reinforce them to start with. They're only made of 0.072 thick material measured over 2 layers of paint. You can block a leg up between 2 pcs of 2 x 4 and bend them by just jumping in the middle of them. I only wt 150# and have bent them this way!!!

Mine failed when I needed to raise the front landing gear and forgot to raise the stabilizers. (Newbie mistake - quick fix; just took money).

No problems here, reinforcing them was one of the first things I did before even using them when it was new. I don't have to worry about them now. I can probably use the rear, axle and front and lift the entire trailer, but I won't due to the flimsy frame.

hundreds of folks have used stabilizers without problems when used in accordance with the manual. I'm sure your reinforced stabilizers work much better, however that is not what comes on the Rigs. If you are sure of your figures why not bring a suit and make yourself some money and help out your fellow campers given the inadequate proprieties of the stock stabilizers.

I run mine down until the motor just about stalls which is probably more than most folks do, but our trailer does not move when we walk around in it. Not interested in filing a frivolous lawsuit when I haven't been harmed or inconvenienced. I reinforced mine so I don't have to worry about bending them. I've posted pictures and dimensions on how to reinforce them so other folks can do it if they want. I've reinforced 5 sets, 2 sets for me and 3 for others.

Unnecessary waste of time and money, as stated before if used properly they are plenty strong enough.

Can say the same about moding diesel trucks. BTW, had the material and it cost me nothing. To each his own.
