Storage on 23LB

Hey we are looking at getting a 23LB or a 2306. I was wondering what the storage was like under the bottom bunk and how big of a door do you get to the outside. Is this door big enough to get camp stoves and the such in and out from the outside. If anyone has a picture of this storage area I would love to see it.

We have a 23lb and I like the understorage. I question whether or not a camp stove would fit in and out though. I can measure my opening if you need.

In the meantime, check out this site for great pics of the 23lb.

HI Darren and Melissa --

We have a 23LB and find the storage ample for our needs. The under bunk storage can be accessed thru the cabinets and the outside door (you probably already knew this). The area below the bunks is the size of a small bunk, so it extends back farther than we can reach thru the cabinet doors. The outside storage door is large enogh for our camping chairs, table and the front lawn (astroturf). It is fairly tall so we stack stuff beck there.

Good Luck with your decision!

Darren

We just bought a 2306 at a show and my wife took a bunch of measurements. She measured the storage area under the bunks to be 26" x 34". Good luck on your decision.

To you who just bought one of these campers, is it possible to get an oven with it. The one pictured in the link does not have one and was wondering if that was an option.

Yep it's an option. You're more likely to find them with the oven than without.

Punkaccountant (love the name) is right on the money. You can download a brochure from Forest River to see all the options that are available for the units.
