Tank heater on 2006 Flagstaff 831RLSS

As a newcomer to rving I am on the steep part of the learning curve. Next to the gas water heater switch and reset indicator in the galley there is another switch labeled 'Tank Heater'. When switched on the switch illuminates. I cannot find any reference to the purpose of this switch in the manuals and it is not on the water heater breaker circuit and neither does it affect the gas heater. Any help with understanding the purpose of this switch would be much appreciated.

sounds like your holding tank heaters, for camping in cold weather.
without pics, it's hard to say though.

Tank Heater Switch

Holding tank heater for winter weather makes a whole lot of sense. Thank you so much.

I had this option on my flagstaff . on mine down by the holding tank dump elbows it had heat tape all over the piping .
I am not sure if there was an actual heating pad on the tanks or not .
