This is the Shed House

I first want to say I ain't bragging for some of you probably have nicer digs than this. But I'm proud of it except the first of every month!

Built this back in 2005. I bit the bullet to build it after watching hail bounce off the top of my previous trailer parked in the driveway. Totally enclosed, walls insulated, 20/30/50 amp recepticals, water, sewer dump, 45' long, 25' wide, 14' high with a rollup door. Now it's not big enough for all the other junk the DW puts in it. Some of it is mine, too!

Where do ya'll keep your trailers?

Nice. Unfortunately for us we have to park in the HOA RV lot. If i have the TT on the property for more than 2-3 days I get a letter in the mail.

Meh, kinda puny if you ask me.

A buddy showed me a listing for a $4 million house in Tennessee. We weren't drooling over the 10,000+ sq ft house, or the 100 acres, or the private lake. It was the 30,000 sq ft, air conditioned garage that had our hearts beating!

What the heck; why not put lights, electrical connections for anything I might get in the future. Run water faucets, might as well put in a sink and plumb it for a toilet and shower, sewer dump. 2x6 studs means insulation in the walls and ceiling. One thing led to another. While the interest rates are low and I am still young(yeah right) might as well do it. We won't be able to take but 2-3 week long trips a year so by keeping the trailer indoors, the aging process is virtually eliminated.

I know I shouldn't have made, as my DW calls it, a Tosh Mahal; I encourage ya'll to at least get a roof of some kind over your rig. Rain and sun is murder to the roof.
