Tinted Safety Glass

We just ordered our Flagstaff 831FKBS May 3. We were told it would be 7 weeks. We do not recall being asked about the option of tinted safety glass. We now wonder if this is something we should have added due to the fact that we are getting the atrium slide windows. Does anyone know if this is a feature we should have added? We will have day/night shades and slideout
toppers.

Brother in Law has the atrium slide and no tinted windows, With the day night shades the family likes the light in the day/evening.

Dont know how the tint wouls suit me.

I ordered the 831krss and was asked about the tinted windows when i ordered. I did get them along with the day/night shades. I ordered the atrium slide and i just figured that's an aweful lot of light to be coming in at 6am. Also, i think the tint gives the trailer a better look from the outside ,but i've always had the darkest tint available on all my vehicles so it wasnt really much of a decision to me.

I would call the dealer and have the tinted window option added to my purchase order. This should not be a problem as long as the factory has not yet started construction of your trailer. My reasoning is twofold: 1) Less heat gain and 2) more privacy in your trailer.

Down here in the south I would want them and so ordered them on our new Rockwood. Did not get atrium windows. My idea is to try to keep the trailer as cool as possible. An as it is safety glass, that would be much better in the event of some freak accident.

you guys are trying to keep cool...and I woke up to snow and 18 degrees in my trailer this weekend.

Our windows are tinted. You can't see in them from outside during daylight hours. I like the privacy.

Great news just In!!!! My dealer called me a few minutes ago and said my camper was in and I will be picking it up on Friday. That 6 weeks went by a lot quicker then what i thought it was going to.

I called the dealership this morning and had them add the tinted
window option. It was $275.00 to add them, I think it will be
money well spent. Thanks for everyones input.
