One would think that when one or two brands have exponentially more failures than others, they would take notice. Also, when people like me filing complaints, send pictures of tread separations on 4 tires and copies of their CAT scale yellow sheets before their trips, photos of the intel on the tire's sidewall, and the numbers on their TPMS, they should take notice and investigate.
It shouldn't be left up to the consumer to have to prove there is a safety problem. After all, it's what they [NHTSA] do for a living. I realize they are a government agency, but I still expect them to do their job.
