Question Towing the Flagstaff 8528IKWS .....

Does the Forum have any members towing the 8528IKWS or Rockwood 8289WS with a 2011>Chevrolet/GMC 2500HD that is a 4X4. The rear ends of these trucks are higher than ever putting bed side rails at 58" . I"m really concerned about having clearance and keeping the nose of the FW close to level. Thanks. -George-

Modern fifth wheels are designed and aware of the height of modern trucks. I pull my Sabre with a 2012 Ram 3500 4x4 DRW. It's really high, too and I don't have any issues.

I have a 2010 8528 RKS that I tow with a 2009 GMC 2500 4X4. I have a bit over 5" of clearance and have not had any issues. It tows a few inches "high" in the front but I have never noticed a problem and in general it tows great.
