Trailer Order Runaround

We ordered a Flagstaff Hard Side the second week of March. It was supposed to come off the line on April, 24. We were then told that it was set up for a 'hot shipment' on May, 4 and expected to be delivered on May, 12.

We got a call from Flagstaff on May, 16 apologizing for a mix up...someone else who ordered the same model trailer had their's 'hot shipped' instead of ours. They scheduled ours for a 'hot shipment' again but there was still some paper work and inspections to be done. They thought the trailer might be delivered in seven days.

We are waiting for another shoe to drop. Since this is our first trailer purchase we are clueless as to what is considered the normal time from order to delivery; if there is such a thing.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks

trailer order

Hello ! High Country . I ordered a coachman apex on Feb.17 it just came in yesterday about three weeks later than what I was led to believe. My dealer told me they are telling people to not expect an order in less than four months. The sales are booming.

Some plant locations do close during winter. With spring comes camping season and peak sales which also impacts transporting units to dealerships.
Congrats on your new Flagstaff! Hopefully you will be bringing it home soon and loading it up for the first trip out. Happy camping!

I hope that booming sales doesn't translate into difficulties finding places to camp.

Based on our recent 7 week trip, I would say that it has.
