Truck issues ruin vacation

That increases load on power plants and coal would be the biggest player... how would that improve emissions?

Not to mention that would only affect new car sales, leaving millions still on the road burning fossil fuels

lol.....a buddy of mine is a die hard chevy guy as am I. I went over to his shop one day but didn't see his truck. When I walked in he told me that he'd bought a new truck to pull his boat. He said he bought a Cummins....NOT a Dodge but a Cummins!

The Dodge (yeah, I get it, it's a Ram. But it's still a Dodge AFAIC) is just the expensive shipping container for the Cummins. (No "g")

We are talking vehicles here not power plants. Electric. And there are more and more of them showing up. Fuel companies already crying the blues. Later RJD

An electrical power plant is WAY more efficient than an internal combustion engine and that doesn't even account for the energy waste delivering the gasoline to stations.

BTW, coal fire power plants account for only 30% of energy production and that number is going to plummet.

That being said, electric cars are still a way off and not in my plans.

7.3's love filtered Veggie oil for lubricity. Mine is so much quieter since I started using it. Got noisy when "they" mandated ultra low sulfur fuel.....also lowered the economy a bit too! When hot out, I run 60-70%, winter, 20-30%. Power takes a bit of a hit when I run the % over 30%, so I avoid running 70% when I tow.

Just a note, they all have made some good ones....and lemons!

This thread is being closed, it has way too many political talk site guideline violations here.

Expect these to be be deleted.
