V-Lite PDI @1:00 today!
We're pretty tired and excited.
Got the trade all cleaned and scrubbed out, so we'll see how the walk through goes and if we should bring it home.....
Did have a funny call from the sales manager wondering if we wanted to come in early and write the check........
He found out real quick that we would be willing to pay AFTER the PDI.
I'll take some pics and let you know how it went, as we have never bought a brand new TT before.
Thanks for all the help from here.....
I got my coveralls, tools, flashlight, clipboard and PDI lists that were recommended.

I've always wondered about something; if the dealer is selling to us, why do we have to pay for dealer prep?

Gleaner,
Interested to know details of your PDI. My V-nose is still 2-3 weeks from being built. How was the QC on manufacturing, any leaks or alignment problems of the slides?

Good Morning fellow Froggers.
The PDI went mostly, very well.
Just a couple minor things that were fixed onsite.
I was impressed with the people in the shop at the local dealer, so far.
I am going to download a couple pics and I'll answer the the questions better when I'm not mobile later today.

Slide alignment was great.
Some flashing adjustment was need on the left side 2 so it would not stick out and catch wind. (easy to remedy)
Found a couple loose screws and two spots in the roof edge sealing putty that were soft enough yet to "maneuver", so they weren't low spots and hold water.
They were sealed, they just looked thin and low there and not "right". Would probably never have been a problem, but.......
The unit was unreal clean inside, I thought.
I do not know if FR is that outstanding on no sawdust and junk behind screens, outlets etc. or the dealer is that outstanding.
I took a vacuum expecting a mess, like I have seen in friends RV's when we removed panels to work on stuff. ZERO. ZIP. NADA.
I was very pleased with my dealer overall. They had it "ready to camp", had sanitized the water system and everything working.
We stayed in it Saturday nite and the only thing I didn't like was the furnace seemed LOUD. We are going to close the bedroom door next time and see if I'm still grumpy.

Well, it came in a 2016.
That's cool.
I'm camping within a couple hundred miles only, til fall....
So I am going to run the ChiCom Tires for a while.
USB ports and charging stations, tie straps for the recliners and dining set in travel mode, cool led lighting in Fridge and awnings, every swtich on the panel marked etc.
I wasn't expecting all those things. Then the dealer added a 2nd battery and disconnect I didn't know was going to happen. I loved it.
